By using the Services you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms and Conditions.

Information We Collect

Information you give us:

Contact details: name, email address, phone number, mailing and service address, ZIP code.
Property and service details: type of service, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, square footage, preferred dates, add-ons, notes, and photos you send us.
Access information: gate, door, lockbox or alarm codes, key instructions, parking instructions and pet information.
Payment information: billing name, address and payment details. Card payments are processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our website.
Communications: the content of calls, texts, emails, chat or WhatsApp messages, reviews and survey answers.

Information collected automatically:

Device information: browser type, IP address, time zone, device type, pages visited, links clicked, referring website and approximate location (city level) when you visit our site.
Cookies and similar technologies, including analytics and advertising tags (see “Cookies and Tracking” below).

Information from service visits and third parties:

Before-and-after photos of the areas we clean, taken for quality control and documentation.
Information from property managers, real estate agents, short-term rental hosts or other people who book a service for a property, and from review sites and referral partners.

How We Use Your Information

To provide, schedule, confirm, perform and follow up on the Services you request.
To prepare quotes and estimates, process payments, send invoices and collect amounts owed.
To communicate with you by phone, text message, email or messaging apps about quotes, appointments, reminders, arrival times, service updates and customer support.
To send marketing and promotional messages when you have agreed to receive them.
To document property conditions, handle claims, and protect our staff, our clients and our business.
To improve our website, Services, training and customer experience, including through analytics.
To detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse and security incidents.
To comply with legal, tax, accounting, insurance and regulatory obligations, and to enforce our agreements.

Text Messages (SMS)

Program description: So Shiny Janitorial may send text messages about quotes, appointment confirmations and reminders, arrival updates, service follow-ups, customer support and, if you opted in, offers and promotions.
Consent: By providing your mobile number and checking the consent box on our forms, or by texting us first, you agree to receive text messages from So Shiny Janitorial at that number, which may be sent using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You confirm that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the number you provide.
Frequency and cost: Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
Opt-out: Reply STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE or STOPALL) to any message to stop receiving texts. We will send one final message confirming your opt-out. You can also opt out by emailing info@soshinyjanitorial.com with “Opt-out” as the subject. If you opt out of marketing texts, we may still contact you by other means about a service you booked.

Carriers: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No sharing of mobile information: We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other sharing described in this policy, except with the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf.

Email and Phone Calls

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. Even after you unsubscribe, we may still send emails about quotes, bookings, invoices and services you requested.
Calls with our team may be recorded or monitored for quality, training and record-keeping purposes. Where the law requires it, we will tell you at the start of the call.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:

Our team: employees and contractors who perform or manage your service receive only the information they need (for example, your address, access instructions and service notes).
Service providers: companies that help us run our business, such as website hosting, email, scheduling and customer-management software, workflow automation, text-message and phone providers, payment processors, accounting, analytics and advertising platforms, all of which may only use the information to provide services to us.
People connected to the booking: if a property manager, host, agent, landlord, tenant or family member books or pays for a service, we may share service details, photos and invoices with them.
Insurance and claims: with our insurers, adjusters and advisors when a claim or incident is reported.
Legal reasons: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or when we believe disclosure is needed to protect our rights, property or safety, or that of our clients, staff or others.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your choices, understand how visitors use the site and measure our advertising. We may use tools such as Google Analytics and advertising tags from platforms like Google and Meta, which may collect information about your visits across websites. Some parts of the site may not work properly without cookies. Our site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

Access codes and keys are treated as confidential, shared only with the team members assigned to your service, and deleted or returned when no longer needed. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information has been compromised, contact us right away.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide recurring service, resolve disputes, keep business, tax and insurance records, and comply with the law. Service photos are kept for as long as reasonably needed to document our work and handle any claims.

Your Rights and Choices

Access, correction and deletion: you may ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to the information we must keep for legal, tax, insurance or dispute purposes.
Marketing choices: you may opt out of marketing texts and emails at any time as described above.
Nevada residents: we do not sell personal information as defined in Nevada law (NRS Chapter 603A). You may still submit a request that we not sell your covered information by emailing info@soshinyjanitorial.com.
